Default do we have a dog beach?

does anyone know if we have an off-leash dog beach around these parts?

i'm from eastern nc and for the life of me i can't recall ever hearing of us having one...but maybe someone else would know better than i.

anyone?

Not one that I know of although I see many people letting their dogs run off leash in the evening.

hey, trlhiker, thanks!

i'm not sure i'd want to take my dog to a beach where other dogs would be off-leash anyway b/c we've had some bad luck at off-leash parks...but i do have friends who ask the question, and i want to make sure i'm not giving them the wrong answer.

When I take mine, if the coast is clear (no other dogs) I let mine go. If people complain, I tell them to get a life.

lln -- hmm.

i'm afraid if i let barnaby off the leash, he'd be on the next boat out of town.

seriously, he got off-leash by accident when he was a puppy, ran across a park, then across a parking lot, and THEN across a golf course where he paused mid-stride to steal a golf ball that was in play. it is a miracle that he wasn't killed...

sounds like you have a dog that understands the cardinal rule not to run away!

Stay classy LLN. I guess laws are for everyone but you. Nice example for your students. People are not complaining, they are reacting to you breaking the law. Running your mouth when you are in the wrong speaks for itself. Do you also park in handicap spaces?

Nah Uncle, I am sure you need the space.

Guess you are just mad about the insurance company pulling out and not insuring NC Coastal single and double wides anymore. Sure that has you stressed.

Bless your heart.
