Default Atlantic Beach

We'll be going to Atlantic Beach for the first time this year. Any comments about the Windjammer Inn? How are the beaches? Any info would be appreciated!

can't comment on the inn from personal experiences. the beaches are great, certain points can get crowded, namely at the Circle (the point at where you first cross the bridge) and at the Fort Macon bathhouse area. my fav beach access is located at new bern st between the two. alot of people miss it.

Be sure to check out the ft macon state park, the aquarium, and go around the corner into Beaufort and check out the maritime museum and the local shops in that area.
