Scratch and Dent Appliance Store near Currituck County (Elizabeth City: appliances, Home Depot)

Hi,

I just moved to Poplar Branch and need a washing machine and dryer. Does anyone know where the closest Scratch and Dent store is? Or, a repair man who would have good used w & d?
I have been watching craigslist, but have not had any luck.
The nearest laundrymat is in Eliz City....

Hey Susan,
There are two places I can suggest. First there is Integrity Appliance service and repair in Currituck. I know the owner and he is a man of highest integrity. He does great service and also sells some used appliances. There is also Alexander's in Elizabeth City that sells new and used appliances. Home Depot in Virginia and the Lowe's stores in VA and Elizabeth City handle their own scratch and dent stuff and sometimes you can find good bargains there. There is also a small sears tools and appliances store in E.C. that might have some scratch and dent.

thank you so much! I will go over to Integrity tomorrow. I actually drove all the way to East Coast Appliance in Cheasapeake (sp?) but they were too expensive.
