Default Internet Access - Holden Beach

HI,

The family and I are traveling to Holden Beach for vacation at the end of the month. We are renting a condo on the beach. Anyway, I am trying to figure out how we are going to get internet access for the week. The condominium rental does not include this. Currently, I have AT&T DSL at home which includes dial up access. I was looking at access numbers and it seems that the closest they have one is in Wilmington. My question is, is Wilmington a long distance call from Holden Beach? If not, I don't need to pay anything extra for internet access. Thanks a bunch.

They are both area code 910, so it should not be long distance, i think. Holden is about an hour drive to Wilm. also, you can always look for a local cafe with wifi, most starbucks, Moe's, chick-fil-a etc have free wifi for customers.

I think there is a coffee cafe with internet access on the mainland just over the bridge from the island. It is close to where the mini-golf and go-carts are located.
