I looked online and I see that I can do cable or dish for tv and can do a variety of options for internet service at home. I was wondering what you all thought were the best and worst options for these services in terms of price, service etc? Thanks in advance!

I can't answer this question, just thought I would bump it and see if anyone else would respond.

Time Warner has been awful, i'm researching alternatives and dropping them. Been disputing their charges for 7-8 months now and it's getting old. Will probably go with dish network, vonage or AT&T for phone and AT&T for internet.

I have Directv. It's always on. It's expensive. $68 a month, no premium channels, 2 boxes.

I have CenturyLink for Internet with a locked for life price.

The local TV stations are marginal at best.

We also use directv, even after the blizzard of yesterday and today, 8.5 inches of snow, we never lost the signal. You get what you pay for.

Definitely Time Warner Cable. Their service has really improved in the past few years. They offer 2 hour same day install windows now, and cable certainly is a step above dish/satellite. Calls to customer service are a bit frustrating at times, but I think you'll find that with just about any large provider. And with cable you get the interactive stuff like video on demand and start over. No complaints here.
