I'm a 60 year old female ex-New Yorker, present Floridian possibly moving to Wilmington NC. I've identified four townhouse or patio home developments that I'd like some input specifically relating to safety and desirability of each neighborhood. I'd like to be close to shopping, dog park, and movie theatre!
(1) Inlands Greens
(2) Bayshore Crossing
(3) Marymount at Marsh Oaks
(4) Summerlin Falls

Thanks!

I have driven around this one and I liked it. I would consider it safe, and could move there if I needed to. I would check what the HOA fees were, however, as I thought they were higher than some other developments.

I haven't been in the other developments. However, I noticed that one of the rentals in Inland Greens specified "no students please". The other two are in Ogden, which is generally considered a safe area. You could check specific addresses against Spotcrime.com or the Wilmington newspaper site: starnewsonline.com .
