Based on two air conditioning calls and a dental appointment the weather is about all that is going well these days. Today in New Bern was rather glorious.
Yes! Perfect weather. Flung the windows wide open yesterday and aired out the house. Slept with a light comforter on the bed last night. And today? Dreaming about pumpkin pies!! Autumn has come to Eastern NC--at least for the next few days. Even the mosquitoes took a vacation and left us alone...
These past couple of days have been pure joy - bright blue skies, fluffy white clouds, a cool breeze and low humidity.....perhaps the high humidity of summer makes us relish these days even more! We opened the house and the sounds of nature lulled us to sleep while we had to have a blanket on us for warmth...AAAAAHHHH! Fall at the NC coast - it's the best!
