NC gal (aka Oregon gal) is on a distinguished road
Default Getting to Swansboro?
Hi all. I'm down at Topsail for the week (yeah!) and my family is visiting from Oregon and I want to take them to Swansboro.
It says on the map that a portion of 172 is closed to the public (the part that runs through Camp Legune). How is the best way to get to Swansboro if I can't go through the base?

Steven McCurdy is on a distinguished road
take Hwy 17 North to Hwy 24 bypass(EAST), and then stay on hwy 24 east until you get to Swansboro...
