Today I found the movie "Alien 4: Ressurection" (1997) -- THIS HAS GOTTA BE THE BEST OF THE 4 MOVIES!!!!!!!!

The copy I got someone had copied from a rental tape or something,it was excellent!!!!!! -- THIS IS THE FIRST MOVIE I HAVE EVER WATCHED THAT HAD "DOLBY DIGITAL" LISTED AS THE AUDIO SOURCE THAT SOUNDED AS GOOD AS IT DID IN ANALOG!!!!!! (And I wonder if its because of how it was transferred to the tape I bought @ salvation army (Which wasnt its offical tape)) -- Usually any movie I put in that says DOLBY DIGITAL,does not sound or look good in analog!

ALIEN 4 WAS EXCELLENT!!!!! -- The video was beautiful and the audio was ALMOST AS GOOD AS IF IT WAS STRAIGHT DOLBY STEREO! (100% analog)

I think most movies that use Dolby DIGITAL use DOLBY SR (Special Recording) for analog,im not sure........... All I do know is ALOT OF MOVIES THAT USE "DOLBY DIGITAL" ARE NOT GOOD IN ANALOG!!

Today I got 2 records!!!

1) Rush - Grace Under Pressure (1984)

I noticed THEY DID NOT COMPROMISE THIS ALBUM DIGITALLY which is why I got it and I think its an interesting read here

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grace_U...e_(Rush_album)

......They'd become increasingly unhappy with the sound of the Signals album, and they were also keen to see how they would work with someone other than Brown
QUITE ENCOURAGING -- GOOD FOR THEM!!!!!! -- They had digitally compromised that album and the one before it MOVING PICTURES,both of which sounded like crap...

Im glad they actually LISTENEND TO THEM and saw they sounded bad!! (Rush is a good band, one of the BEST of the 70s and 80s)

I originally thought when I saw they had compromised MOVING PICTURES (1981) that all albums AFTER MOVING PICTURES were also compromised...... IM GLAD THEY ARENT!! (They were excellent thru the 80s)

2) Frank Sinatra in Hollywood (43-49) -- This one is in mono

This is early Frank,quite good!!!!!

Today I got a record

Blood, sweat and tears - No name on it

and a vhs tape!

WOODSTOCK 69! -- 2 tapes

I was happy I found this... I had found one last month and I just sat on ceremony and one day it was gone.... Then I starting trying to find other copies and all I could find were DIGITALLY PROCESSED copies (Crap) .. I finally found another earlier release of this that IS NOT DIGITALLY PROCESSED and I wasnt gonna let it go again!!!!

The original 1987 release of this IS NOT DIGITALLY PROCESSED while the newer 1992 release is

Woodstock 1994 IS DIGITALLY MASTERED on its offical tape and Woodstock 99 was digitally recorded ...... Woodstock 69 is the only one out there (1987 release) that hasnt been digitally affected and WITH THAT BEING THE BEST ONE OF THEM ALL,its quite awesome!!!

I wanna hear the music IN ANALOG!!!!!! (I dont want it to sound compromised because the tape was digitally altered)
