I've yet to meet or even communicate online with anyone who enjoys my hobby. I specifically enjoy collecting Art Nouveau style closed case lorgnettes in sterling silver. They're a throwback to the "Guilded Age," a classier time in our history. They certainly don't make objects like this anymore. I have a few Unger Brothers, the best of the best, which I truly cherish. So, hopefully, a few of you collect these beautiful items, as well.

Have run across a few nice ones at upperend estate sales.

Last line from one of my favorite operas.

Yeah? What parts of the country? I lived in various cities in FL since I began collecting, and now Pittsburgh, PA, and I've yet to see any. I've purchased all of mine on eBay. I suppose I would find them if I lived in the Northeast, in places like my native Long Island, or perhaps in CT, MA, parts of NJ, or the allfluent "Main Line" suburbs of Philadelphia.
