Although I am a Minnesota Gopher fan, I always liked Purdue also.

In the late 6o's and 70's, Purdue and Missouri could always be counted on to pull one big upset per season off. Even in a mediocore year, I watched the sports in fall to see when that big upset was gonna happen.

(enjoyed watching Gene K coach basketball. also )

I agree. Nothing wrong with D3 sports at all.

Just for the purposes of the topic however, most people won't mention a D2 or 3 school. Most follow D1A, so...

so.. educate them to the fact they could see a better game for a few bucks or even nothing.

I like the D1 as spectacle, 80,000 people on their feet as the mighty Wisconsin band belts out "On Wisconsin" will raise the hair on the back of you neck.
Bur D3 games are often better and more fun, as D1 has become the NFL's
minor leagues.

College Football - Idaho, Utah, TCU, Miami, Texas, Washington, and Arizona. Also, I always root against Boise State, BYU, USC, and pretty much any team from the SEC.
