That's disgraceful. Every team should play on green natural grass and outdoors.

I don't mind Boise State having a blue turf, makes it unique, I'm fine with just BSU having one, just as well Eastern Washington won't get much national TV coverage.

Unless you are in the Southeastern US, a natural grass field can be very expensive to maintain. Turf is just cheaper in many cases to maintain.

This is true - on the website it did say they would save a lot in water and maintenence costs.

At first I thought it was pretty cool looking - then after a minute or two I thought it would get annoying. Maybe if they did a not-so-bright shade of red?

Live turf cam... That stuff is disgusting. And injuries from turf are notorious, even though the technology is better today. But it just looks like they rolled out a red carpet, which is NOT good.
