This is a tread for all U fans, to voice our pleasures and displeasure's or mainly just mine. Miami is one of the most famed programs in the nation if not the most aka NFL U b/c of all the top talent that comes out of The U.

5 National Titles, 6 if you ask any true Cane fan.(see "the call" 2003)

9 Conference titles

55230719 (.640) All time record.

2 Heisman Trophy Winners

Longest home winning streak at 58.

Won 34 straight games.

Played in 34 Bowl Games

I am so excited as a U fan, it's about time we are back in the spot light again. The biggest game of the year might be their last but other than that I would say the Ohio State game. I believe Ohio State has a slight edge b/c they are at home but if the Canes play their game it won't even be close. I hope Miami can play for a National title this year, I know they have it in them. If not this year, The Canes will be in the Nat title game in the next 5 years Guarantee it!

You mean Thug U?

I'm liking you guys to pull the upset in Columbus this year. Thats a huge week 2 matchup. It kind of sucks that I will miss it. I will be in Norman watching the Sooners kick the crap out your rival, Free Shoe U.

BTW, good game last year, if we had a kicker we might have pulled it off. I think you guys will be improved this year. Still gotta go with Va Tech in the ACC though.

Let's not be mean, after all paying or recruiting utter scum to win an extra game or two is the most important thing a college can do.

Besides, schools like Oklahoma and Miami have storied traditions and an elite group of alumni. I mean, if I you are one of the 40 or 50 people those schools graduate each year you have actually acheived something, perhaps even literacy.

The University of Miami is a VERY good, private school. I'm kind of shocked they ever stooped to that THUG level in football...but as a school it is very reputable.

Dude I am no U supporter.

But honestly, its amazing how people won't let something from the 80s die.

Shannon has cleaned up that team, you can't get away with crap like that anymore. Not with the iron hammer of the NCAA looking for ya all the time.

No but in 20 years look what they accomplished from 1983-2003. I don't think any college team will have that kind of run again.

I think you could argue, that either FSU or UF...as much as I can't stand them....have had equal runs of success in a 20 year span.
