Didn't get to see end of game: had to run an errand just before the end of regulation. But I would probably had a heart attack if I had watched the end: I happen to be an SC fan.

I am very surprised it came down to overtime, but UT ran out of bullets shooting ourselves in the foot. Great effort that says this team won't be a pushover for everybody.
The loss of OL Williams is a big one and depletes a weak line.

Seriously, an over-hyped and highly touted USC needed a full four quarters plus TWO OT's to finally get the W in this game against Texas?

Texas fought hard ALL game and nearly pulled it off.

Afterward, the USC players and their crowd reacted as if they'd just won the National Championship? They must have forgotten that the Longhorns were major underdogs! Congrats to Texas for making USC work for it and making their entitled crowd doubt.

Good game Texas. They fought hard and will be a pretty good team by years end. Don't count the Longhorns out just yet!

too bad, the SC offense did a masterful job of using the last 45 second to drive the field to get the game tying field goal, and they did it with no time outs and using the center of the field.

colt i think that USC is not overrated, but rather texas is underrated. texas stepped up big time on defense, and stopped a very good running team. i think texas is going places this season judging by their performance against SC.

Thing is, no team in the Big 12 plays any defense. Except *maybe* us. Can't really judge any team based on their performance against a Big 12 D.

Final Score: Texas 17, Iowa State 7

I feel sorry for everyone who watched this crap-show last night.

Last night also showed that we made a big mistake by hiring Tim Beck to be our OC.

Another win. Defense looks legit, which could carry us quite far in the Big 12.

Offense was stagnant. Wouldn't be surprised to see Ehlinger play against OU.
