On a lighter note, a celebrity was spotted chilling at Tech's baseball stadium:

^^^Ha! I remember that fox running behind the players on the sidelines during one of the home games. I guess he got bored at The Jones and decided to check out the baseball stadium...lol.

Here's a summary of what Kingsbury had to say this afternoon:

Five players faxed in Letters of Intent today: two defensive tackles, a safety, an offensive lineman, and a wide receiver.

^^^That's good! I'm particularly happy that they picked up an offensive lineman. They need more depth on the O-line badly. As a result, I hope they can sign more good offensive linemen by next season.

Tech and Arizona State announced a home-and-home series today. The first game would take place in 2016 in Tempe and another would be held in 2017 in Lubbock.

This, in addition to the series with Arkansas in 2014-15 proves (to me) that the current staff cares about non-conference SOS.

As for the current team, they seem to be having a good time in San Diego, based on reports. Hopefully, they have as much (or more) fun on the 30th.

^^^Yeah, I'm also glad to see that Kliff is addressing the non-conference SOS issue. IMO, it's foolish to have a non-conference schedule that only includes easily beatable teams. To me, this says that Kliff seriously wants to have teams that are going to be a contender for conference championships down the road.

I'm glad to hear that the team seems to be having fun in San Diego. I'll be watching the game on TV on Monday of course! Wreck 'Em Tech!

Default From SD

Nice win against a very good ASU team! Run game was improved, and the D played pretty well. Nice to get the W after the last 5 games.

More later.
