Where are the haters now? If they run the table and don't get a crack at the title I will never again give a dime to NCAA as a matter of principle.

So you are saying the Boise St Donkeys should be let in because of a victory over VaTech?

What if Ohio State and Alabama both run the table too? TCU? Are they to be left out so the Donks can get in?

The #3 ranked team beat the #10 ranked team at a "neutral site" a couple of hours away from the #10 team's campus. Sounds legitimate enough for most reasonable people that it was a good win and deserving of maintaining #3, and being part of national championship talk if they continue undefeated. However if you're name is Boise State rather than Texas, Oklahoma, Florida or USC it's not good enough. If Boise State beats any non-conference team unafraid to play them, and they run the table in their conference they've done all they can and deserve a shot at playing for the national championship versus a one or two loss team.

Yep, they're #3, and they just beat #10. The same argument would be used for Ohio State, Alabama and TCU.

Strength of schedule is a feeble argument if most of the "big name" schools duck playing them.

It would mean more if this was the last week of the season.

No one really knows how good VT is.

If VT ends the season with 3 or 4 losses on their record, the fact Boise State beat them and 25 cents will buy you coffee at Ma and Pa's Kettle in Cameron Missouri.

If VT ends the season with only that loss to Boise State, last night's victory will mean a whole lot more.

Awesome, Awesome game! I have liked Boise ever since the big bowl game win against Oklahoma, and they did not disappoint last night- what a game! I hope they do run the table and get their chance in the championship game.

Its not a sure thing that Boise St will be ranked higher than TCU by the end of the year due to Boise St. sorry conference. TCU strength of schedule is much better than Boise St strength of schedule. Utah, BYU, and Air Force will all be ranked when TCU gets a crack at them.

Yes. Ohio State is a known overrated team. What were the scores of the title games they were in? Boise State can't get a fair shake because programs like OSU and Bama refuse to play them. Only VT answered Boise's challenge. That's proof enough for me.

Buckeyes 31 Huricanes 24.

But, I'm sure your point was aimed at more specific years, huh?
