I used Sportbook, as of 8 am PDT.

Sparty @ Iowa -6.5
Mizzou @ Nebraska -7.5
Oklahoma St. @ Kansas St +5.5
Wazzou @ Arizona St -21
Michigan @ Penn State +1.5
Oregon @ USC +6.5

I'll take Iowa to cover.
I'll take Mizzou.
I'll take Kansas State straight up, to win the game.
I'll take Wazzou.
I'll take Penn State straight up.
I'll take Oregon to cover.

There are enough great games/rivalries this week that the spread should be irrelevant.

Have a set of balls and simply pick who you think will win !

It's much harder to pick against the spread:
Winners:
Iowa
Nebraska
Kansas State
Arizona State
Penn State
Oregon

You know, a lot of people are picking Ole Miss to either beat the spread or upset Auburn outright. It's getting a lot of hype, chiefly because ESPN wants to keep the BCS suspense going. I think the smart money however will be on Auburn beating the spread.

Why? Because Auburn's offensive coordinator was OC at Arkansas under Houston Nutt, OM's current coach, and there's no love lost between the two. He will probably put the offense into overdrive against an already suspect OM defense.

Whaaaaaaaaaaa?! You know, sometimes it's best just not to comment so that you don't remove all doubt.

Who really gives a ratz azz if Auburn beats Mississippi by 7 points or by 27 points?

Real men bet on football games by giving odds, not by giving points.

Ghengis, shouldn't you be sending a get well card to your hero Favre instead of worrying about college football?

Well, if I were a bookie, then I would put the money line down.

You have it backwards.

Sidebets and parlays are usually the only bets that give odds. Every parlay I've played, all the games were against the spread anyway.

Most any sporting event is against the spread, be it football, basketball, cricket or whatever.

Giving odds is for horses, points are for men.

I did make a bet once and gave 30 points.

I won.

So Cal got blown out (1966)
