I agree on this and I'm very anti-playoff. Everyone knows at the beginning of the season what they have to do to get it done to be champ........win out or keep it to one loss.

Michigan is in shambles and college football is the most corrupt of all American sports. Each season I lose a little more interest.

Bowls are, in my opinion, great. I love to see teams that during a regular season would never play. Of course there is all the speculation and calamity, but they are just plain fun to watch. Well thats when it works. Sometimes your have a 15 or higher ranked team playing a non top 25 team: ie ou vs uconn But the great thing about it is that its college football and you never ever can count out an underdog!

Take it for what it is, extra time to watch your Favorite sport. FOOTBALL!

So you think its great that an undefeated team can beat the winner of a major conference... and not having played any common opponents relating to the two teams in the "championship game" still gets no shot at number one. ...I have beat my head against ignorance long enough.

Provide us some stats on that please. I'd say the ratings are probably higher now than they've ever been.

Bowl games work and players like them.

Just too many of them, and we need to get rid of most of the tie ins, and incorporate some sort of Plus One to fix the NC problem.
