The Pac 10 learned tonight that they can not match the talent of the SEC. The SEC has now one 5 BCS championships in a row. What makes the football teams in the SEC better then all other parts of the country? Is it the weather, the football culture, harder mentality, better athletes because it's the south?

The Pac 10 team got man handled by the SEC team in this BCS Champ game.

The states that the SEC typically draws its talent from continue to apply corporal punishment in high school.

I was wanting Auburn to win this one, but Auburn didn't dominate the scoreboard by any stretch. That game could have gone either way.

The SEC has dominated yes, but I've noticed a recent trend. The Western Division has taken the reigns from the Eastern Division as of late... aka Bama, LSU, and now Auburn. But Florida and South Carolina aren't too shaby either. Georgia, however, kinda is. They lost to the lowly CU Buffs! Now Mississippi State and Arkansas did pretty well... tough teams in a tough conference.

Statistically Auburn dominated... take out some trick plays by Oregon and bad coaching by Auburn and it would have been complete domination. They were averaging 5.1 yards a carry!!! JUST RUN IT DOWN their throats!!! Oregon average 2.5 yds/carry. The line of scrimmage was all Auburn. The SEC is WAY too physicaly for any conference in the college football...

They fire the alumni booster network too? SC will be in involuntary-double-secret-squeaky-clean mode for a while, but after the shroud is lifted the program will rebound quickly.
