Soooooo if there is an NFL lockout, as of now, there will be no football on New Years day 2012. I'll let that sink in for a second. No Football on New Years day.

Talk about a tripped out weird ass New Years day. No thanks.

Spoiler
OU will still play on the 9th in New Orleans though, so I'll be alright.

Isn't this a football thread? A Horn cannot win in straight-up football dialogue with a Sooner. Period.

I rest my case.

Cheers.

Kind of like the Horns didn't belong in the Poinsettia Bowl last year?....oh wait, you weren't even in a bowl. I feel sorry for you (I kinda really do).

That's nice of the OU band to agree to play at the halftime show for the Texas vs. LSU BCS NC game on the 9th in New Orleans!

I'd say that is more delusional than optimistic.

I'm thinking if texas wins 8-9 games this year it would be a huge success.

Even horn fan has to admit that OU is stacked this year. On second thought that might be giving horn fan too much credit.

What else do you expect from a school whose team is named after cheaters?

I rest my case:

Cheers

As a rabid Horn fan, I have to agree.

Of course it is optimistic...

But yeah, OU will probably come into this season ranked number 1, a good nonconference game against FSU on the 17th... I'm of the opinion they will slaughter them just like last year.

My pick for the SEC is LSU this year. With Cam Newton gone Auburn will have some rebuilding to do. Alabama will be competitive as well.
