The Bevo Network is causing some issues. All just media hype or the real deal?

Don't blame Bevo: Big 12 shows hypocrisy in criticizing Longhorn network - NCAA Football - Sporting News

...................Ok I officially DONT CARE about Big 12 or any conference soap opera until ONE OR MORE TEAMS ANNOUNCES SOMETHING.

God darned 24 media cycle making everything seem like a bombshell.

The rest of the Big 12 can't do crap, there's no where to go.

Gee, let's see- televising potential UT recruits high school football games, UT being allowed to choose what recruit/HS they want to televise, paying said high school programs...yeah, that sure isn't a recruiting advantage.

Add this to the already well known fact that UT can/is very influential when it comes to choosing which Texas HS football coaches run the summer football camps and I would say this isn't the best thing and if I were the rest of the Big 12, I'd find a new home because UT is the boss.

OU, OSU, KU, TT should have come over to the Pac. It still may happen.

Meh. texas pretty much gets any texas recruit they want already. I sure as hell don't want to see Jenks vs Union on the bevo network unless the schools get paid fat.

As long as they are showing texas high schools I don't really care. texas is setting themselves up to go indy IMO, and I personally don't think that is the future of CFB.

I'd watch the "Murderers Row" 30 for 30 on the bevo network for sure though. LOL.

Who cares who Bevo films. Every year there are enough TX high schooler's to go to different Div IA schools. Look at the rosters.

Getting the cream of the crop didn't seem to help UT last year. What were they, 5 wins? 6 of their losses were to Big XII teams, including Baylor.

Texas is not only the football program in Texas but the athletic program. People kidd themselves into thinking that money doesn't talk but it does in all the major conferences. Texas now its the biggest money maker in college football over Notre Dame. That has time goes on will effect every sport they support.

With the Sooners' way too early preseason hype I shouldn't relish Baylor pounding Texas too much.....oh, but it is so much fun to think about!

Thanks for the laughs, Horns!
