I guess you want to feel like it wouldn't since it's the first time you could beat us, even though you were again highly favored.
If you take "IF's" into account then almost every game would go differently...

It is the responsibility of the team to have a good backup quarterback. No excuses for not having one... Texas realized this in the 2010 BCS NC game...

6'6" Logan Thomas is going to be the QB this year--quite a size difference from Tyrod Taylor.

They wont lose to GT because they will have a bye week before the game, which will give them time to prepare for the Yellow Jackets option-type attack.

However, Tech has a bad habit of losing games they shouldnt, so they will lose one--I just dont know who. I dont think it will be Miami--they have the 'Canes at home.

I think they go 12-2...losing only to FSU in the ACC Title game and that one other game (Since they wont go BCS with the loss to the Seminoles, I dont think they will lose their bowl game).

That said, I wouldnt be surprised if they beat FSU in the ACC Title game. The last four years have supposed to have been FSU's year...

It has not. This upcoming year is the first time we have been favored since 2003.

Here are the last three years in the ACC preseason pick:
09-10: VT was preseason favored to win ACC
08-09: Clemson was preseason favored to win ACC
07-08: VT was preseason favored to win ACC

Please provide evidence that it would have been different. Thanks. Oh you can't. But whatever makes you feel better.

Enjoy your one win against a non-100% healthy team. We will enjoy our National Championship that Vick and Co couldn't give you.

Quit making excuses and take your beating like a man. Looking forward to showing Jumbo who's boss in this conference again. I wonder what your excuse will be this year.

we weren't 100% WAHHHHH

Whatever dude. We will talk if your team (which it should based on the fact that VT is on the easy side of the conference) makes the Championship.

We are still 9-2 against you guys since 1980. Pretty lopsided. Again, 46-29.

I think we drop one game in conference, probably Miami or GT. We'll most likely be favored to win every game, but there's always that one that sneaks in and we lose.

I think we still make the ACC Championship game though, probably a repeat of last years match-up. We'll have to see how Logan Thomas develops over his first year as QB before I make any predictions on that, as he should have enough games under his belt by then to work out the kinks. I've been hearing a lot of good things coming out of camp about him, but there's bound to be some growing pains due to inexperience.

You are right in that regard.

I just know too many FSU fans who tell me every year is their year.

44-33.
