Wonder what excuses will be made now that Clemson dominated VT 23-3??

After they beat Auburn 38-24.....well, Auburn is really bad defensively, lost too many starters from 2010, blah, blah, blah, but Clemson just won't score that way versus the vaunted FSU defense.

Oh darn, Clemson puts up 35 (and should have scored more, I was at that game) against mighty FSU - but - they (FSU) were down after losing to OU, players hurt, blah, blah, blah, but now they have to go to Blacksburg and VT will show them a thing or two (and Clemson had been bad the last few trips there).

Aw nuts, Clemson goes to Blacksburg on a Saturday night and the offense is OK, but the defense, especially Andre Branch, puts the clamps down on the Hokies offense.

But I'm sure there's some excuses brewing - or - maybe, just maybe, Clemson is for real.

BTW, crappy Auburn beats S. Carolina 16-13.

Also, Congrats to Washington State beating Colorado 31-27! Nice to see their program get some success after being so down the last three years.

Somewhere in a hospital Brantley is crying, most due to his school losing. Alabama ruined his season just like they ruin Tebows. 38 - 10 (should be 45 i.e. the fumble return that magically was called back for ???). What a beatdown.

I was also at that game and no they wouldn't have scored more. If we didn't give up costly penalties, Clemson would have actually lost. We kept dead drives alive i.e. 2 roughing the kicker, 2-3 passing interferences on third (1 which was uncatchable), etc.

Well, so much for my prediction about Fresno State beating Ole Miss....maybe now that we're done losing to BCS schools we can try to actually win the conference for once.

Boise State will probably still beat us like a drum next week, but at least it's a non-conference game--until next year.
