What good defenses have they played?
I just don't keep up with a boring schedule like theirs.

Georgia is #23 in total Defense, #7 in yards allowed. By years end, they will also play TCU and San Diego St, who both are top 40 in total defense.

Stanford, on the other hand, only will play two Top 50 defense all season i.e. #26 Oregon, #27 Notre Dame. The Pac 10, as a whole, is known for not playing defense. The teams they have faced thus far look like this in defense...
Colorado - allows 38.7 pts/game, 447.2 yards/game
Arizona - allows 34.8 pts/game, 452.2 yards/game
Washington - allows 33.4 pts/game, 424.9 yards/game
Wash St - allows 31.8 pts/game, 412.6 yards/game
UCLA - allows 31.4 pts/game, 427.6 yards/game
San Jose St - allows 31.3 pts/game, 419.3 yards/game
Fun Fact: Duke had a better defense than everyone they faced but USC so far and we see how bad that team is.

No doubt they are a different team this year, but don't forget Luck and Stanford flew across 3 time zones back in January and pushed around a Va Tech defense in convincing fashion. I won't doubt Stanford's offense after seeing that. I believe they will be plenty competitive in a title game.

ESPN announced thatthe loser of this weeks Oregon/Stanford game will face Boise St in the Fiesta Bow. Assuming Boise or Oregon are not playing for the National Title. Stanford would go on to play in the Rosebowl, assuming once again that they are not playing for the title and of course beat the pac 12 south.

I'm doubting those matchups happen.

If Oregon gets into a BCS game with a loss to Stanford (who I actually think we beat on Saturday), I can see an Oregon-Oklahoma match-up (minus Pac-10 replay officials).

Yes, much more likely (if UO loses to tree). Such a good matchup. (minus those POS Pac-10 replay officials)

I'm thinking you get the RB, we get LSU in the MNC.

Lots of football to be played though. If we go to the fiesta, I think we'll get either BSU or UO, both are awesome matchups.

That would be.... Oregon ball. Confirmed by replay. ****ing bull****!

Good games this week.

Georgia and Auburn (underrated SEC bout)

Okie St. and Texas Tech (I like Tubby but gotta go with the pokes)

Miami and Florida State (biased cause I am an ACC guy but rivalry games always rock)

and then finally Oregon and Stanford (I LOVE me some Cardinal but I will be SURPRISED if the Furd win this one with their injuries and shaky secondary)

Otherwise, I am just happy Virginia is bowl eligible again.
