Since the season starts tomorrow, it is time for Cyborg13's Preseason Predictions. Did fairly well last year ( http://www.city-data.com/forum/17387704-post983.html )...what will this year hold in store?

1- An SEC team will not win the National Championship.
2- There will be at least 3 undefeated teams (Boise State, Oklahoma, ???)
3- The Big East champion will have at least 3 losses.
4- Idaho goes 8-4 and makes a bowl game.
5- Oregon wins the first PAC-12 Championship Game over newcomer Utah
6- Nebraska wins the first Big 10 Championship game over Wisconsin, avenging a loss earlier in the season.
7- Boise State wins the Mountain West in their first (and only?) year there.
8- Oklahoma wins the Big 12. This is decided in the Bedlam game.
9- The Big 12 disintegrates.
10- Northern Illinois wins the MAC. Easy.
11- Houston wins CUSA over UCF.
12- Florida International wins the Sun Belt.
13- Virginia Tech wins the ACC over an overhyped Florida State.
14- Notre Dame once again fails to emerge from mediocrity.
15- Hawaii wins the WAC in their final year.

Some flaws (only talking BCS conference team claims)...
SEC wins again. Oklahoma won't be undefeated; I am predicting 2 losses. FSU easily defeats VT, a team who replaces vast majority of last year offensive output and replaces major pieces on defense. The Big 12 remains as Texas stays with other following Texas lead; just like last year.

Without Wilson, I feel the offense won't be nearly as productive as last season. I feel the team suffers pretty bad.

This is how I predict the Atlantic Division
#1 FSU (8-0)
#2 Maryland (6-2)
#3 Clemson (5-3)
#4 Boston College (4-4)
#5 NC State (2-6); overall (5-7) - misses bowl; Losses to Cincy, GT, FSU, UNC, BC, Clemson, and Maryland
#6 Wake (1-7)

About the only prediction I feel safe about is that Oklahoma will not be undefeated. Usually when they start out ranked this high they find a way to blow it.

I won't predict it, but I think the Big XII *might* find a way to survive...this time, but I get a feeling they are in their final few years as a conference.

Oh, and Fresno State will find a way to lose the WAC the way they always do, even with Boise gone.

Meh, too much stuff can happen between now and the crucial juncture of mid October.

Two likely national championship contenders are OU and Bama. Bama has a better chance of running the table (thanks LSU).

FSU COULD be in there, but they need help. If they beat Oklahoma and VPI, then yea they're in.

OU likely win the Big XII
FSU in ACC (unless they choke)
Dunno about Big 10, probably Neb
SEC equals Bama
Big East is WVU (even if they loose to MD)
Ducks in the Pac

Kentucky in a tussle with the mighty Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky. Seriously? And why is UK playing at WKU?
