I hadn't kept up with Houston this week, thinking that they had finished their season already. Then I noticed last night that they were playing USM and I thought right off the bat that this could be a game that exposes UH. If they had gone out and torched USM, that might have been an impressive statement, but USM is a top-25 team. It's also the only top-25 team UH has played all year and they're struggling big time.

So yep, looks like UH is overrated. Like way overrated.

I wonder if the beating UH is taking is going to slow down the massive rush to Sumlin by the hordes of schools rumored to be interested in him.

On a different subject, I respect Chris Petersen for rejecting the huge offer UCLA threw at him----it just looks like that he and his family prefer the lifestyle of Boise, and the star studded aura of southern Cali doesnt impress him-----good for him----like to see a guy say he likes what he currently has and wants to stay and improve on it.

I think he rejected UCLA, but that doesn't mean he would necessarily reject other schools. If someone like Florida State comes calling, that would be a hard offer to turn down.

Petersens name came up repeatedly last year also----he may eventually move on, but he does impress me as a guy that is happy at Boise----maybe Arizona State will take a run at him.

Georgia is really pulling out all the playbook today ------onside kick, reverses, all sorts of formations-----a couple of dropped passes is preventing from at least a 10 point lead or so.

I like Mark Richt---a good decent man who is also a creative offensive mind----the criticism he took at Georgia last year is part of the package of being a high profile coach----I am happy he has having success again this year.

Wonder if Petersen also might be hesitant to leave due to the failure of his predecessor, Dan Hawkins, at Colorado.

LSU is looking really flat.

another all red team playing the yellow team with nearly no scoring. Seems like I have already seen this game.
