Heh--that's the first time I've ever heard or read anything like that, and I've been following them for the last 24 years.

Who am I forgetting?
South Carolina. You're forgetting South Carolina. You're also forgetting Georgia. Texas too. Oh, Alabama. Don't discount Texas State either.

Having run through the tunnel as a visitor at Neyland, Death Valley, The Swamp, and many other notables - I think the best home field advantage in the nation has to be at LSU. Those people are really crazy.

LSU
Texas
Texas A&M (the pomp and circumstance at Kyle Field along with the masses of perfectly coordinated, fanatical, brainwashed students is actually amazing to behold)
Alabama
Navy or West Point

1. Stanford - Academics, location, program is (was) on the rise. Great competition.
2. Boise State - personal bias here, but Boise is the best small town in the nation, and Coach Pete and his staff are probably the best group of coaches in the nation.
3. Texas - It's Texas; enough said. Plus Austin rules.
4. Penn State - best stadium and fans in the nation; Joe Pa rules.
5. Oregon - get treated like a king living in the one of the most beautiful places in the nation.
