They've been doing that for a couple of years I believe.

And because of no NFL yet it is easier to write off on it, although don't be surprised if it continues into the season because I think it does for a little while at least.

They have them on fridays too and people hollered about it interfering with high school games, but cmon dude. Football is made for television and if the television money is legit than people will take their chances.

You could protest by not watching it I guess.

They did this last year, had several Sunday games and then Boise State vs Virginia Tech was on Monday. I presume it was because of the NFL not starting until the following week. In week 2 there were no Sunday or Monday college games, and it is the same this year.

I don't ever remember seeing college games on Sunday once the NFL started.

Why is it stupid? TV broadcast companies are providing a product for their customers. If there is a demand for said product and the company can make a profit providing said product then why would they not do it? It's not stupid it is smart business.

They do not play on Sundays once the NFL starts... and even if they did I would not have problem with it.

I have more a problem with High Schools playing on Saturdays all season long. They do that down here in GA, mainly in Dekalb and Fulton counties because schools share stadiums (they will not allow some schools to build their own stadium). but i think its ridiculous because parents are forced to choose and students miss out on unofficial visits to schools because their friggin playing.

Because Sundays are for the NFL only and that's how it should be. No College players should be playing the same time as NFL players.
