Texas is 1-7 in their last 8 Big 12 games. Ouch. Texas hasn't won a Big 12 game at home since Nov 21, 2009. Really? LOL. Oklahoma on the other hand, hasn't lost one at home since the OSU game Nov 24, 2001. To answer your question, yes, you read that right.

Recruiting powerhouse advantage what?

Yeah,, we are aware of that. Les Miles beat your defending national champs on your home turf. So what? A&M wiped your tails last year by two tds. So what?

OU hasn't beaten a decent team in a BCS Bowl in a decade (UConn? lol) and has a .375 BCS record. Texas has a .750 record....barely missing 1.000.

So why are the hysterical ninnies terrified of the LHN?

So what? LOL. I guess you don't care that you lost more home games last year than Stoops has ever lost in 11 years while at OU and that it continues into this year? That would concern me if I were a hornfan. In fact I'd be pissed off and wouldn't try to defend it.

What was that? OU has the same amount of BCS win as texas? That's right.

texas is weak as **** right now with no change in sight. Be a real football fan and deal with it.

9-10 in their last 19. "We're Texas" sounds funny coming from them.

Texas has the best conference record since the Big 12 began. Wonder if it's in jeopardy now.

I'm guessing not, they still haven't fallen to the depths that OU was in for the first few years of the conference.

This is classic. Hit the nail on the proverbial head, Stache. This is the standard of Tejas, which just goes to show the Shorthorns will never have the winning tradition of the Sooners.

"But, but, but.....we have the LHN.....but, but, but...we have more money than China.....but, but, but....we have the best recruiting....but, but, but....we have the best young OC and DC who get blown out in their first/second real test....but, but, but....we have a national brand.....but, but, but.....we're TEXAS!!! Whoopee!!!

I'm wondering is Bevo emasculated? That would be very fitting and a great metaphor for the Shorthorns = All big, tough-lookin', and ugly as all get out, but no real power in the stick!

So what? You guys have lost more games (26) in the last 10 years than Texas has lost in the last 10 years (23).

Who cares where they are played...

What does that have to do with Stoops home record? (72-2)

Stoops (OU) has more wins than any other BCS School. (2000-present)

5-7. LOL.

This is a Big12 thread (not really an OU vs. UT thread), right? The NY times says Missouri's move to the SEC is close.

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/18/sp...-sec.html?_r=1

What is the Big12's next move, assuming MU does leave?

Yeah, lets pick a random date... how about from 1995 to present? Do they have more wins for that period of time? LOL.

A better stat to look at is this one:

COLLEGE FOOTBALL PROGRAMS WITH THE MOST WINS
1. Michigan: 877-304-38
2. Texas: 845-321-34
3. Notre Dame: 837-291-42
4. Nebraska: 827-341-41
5. Ohio State: 819-308-53
Winningest College Football Programs - The 10 Winningest Programs in College Football History

^^ Like it or not, those are still the most elite programs in college football (in terms of all time wins, traditions, and fan base)... so sorry sooners, you don't make the top 5 =(

I'd like to see them add SMU or Houston

But my money is on them adding Louisville or West Virginia

However, I feel SMU would be the best fit both academically, historically, and regionally... And their football team has been improving under Jones coaching... It would also be cool to see TCU and SMU in the same conference again. But I am biased because I live in the DFW area-- and I secretly just want to see my horns play here more often...
