There is talk of home and home with Oklahoma in 2020-2021, but that is the only one I have heard of so far. I had hoped they would schedule an OOC game with Kansas this year (given the 100+ consecutive years they had played), but they went with Chattanooga instead. Probably better for the strength of schedule that way anyway.

Ditto!
Typically your Big 10 team will stage an upset or 2 and suffer 1-2 as well. It has been a long time since the Big 10 was the BIG 2 and little 8. More unpredictable and more fun!

I disagree. So do the votes. They think the only team that's better is Wisconsin.

Just because the B1G has schools with bigger names doesn't make them better. It's a different style of play but the Big XII has some pretty good talent. I do think that from top-to-bottom, the B1G is slightly better but the top half of each conference is comparable.

Nebraska was 10-4 last season. How many extra losses do you think the Huskers will as a result of the switch in conferences?

I have always had respect for NU. And Nebraska travels well. Meaning I remember the wave of red coming to town when they played KSU.

I also think NU would do well in any conference. And I think their new opponents will "enjoy" going to Lincoln for the home games.

Most of the talent in the Big 12 was in the South division. I think there's just a big jump in competition from going to the Big 12 North to the Big 10. Some of those North division teams probably should be in a mid-major if you just take into consideration their level of play.

And at this stage, the opinions of all the various sportswriters and voters mean about as much as mine does.

Welcome to the Big Ten!

Nebraska is getting too much love this offseason. What will Martinez do when they Big Ten teams load the box (and stop the run, which most good big ten teams can do). The Big ten has been chasing Denard Robinson and Terell Pryor around for the past two years- Martinez is just another guy. Nebraska's style on offense plays in right into the hands of all the other good Big Ten Teams.

I think Wisconsin and Ohio State are better teams and are balanced across the board. Newsflash to all the Buckeye Haters- they recruit 4 and 5 star talent every year they have depth and guys waiting (playing now) that can start and thrive in most places. I wouldn't be shocked if they go to another BCS game this year. The 4th best team in the Big Ten stuff has got to stop and will eventually.

Nebraska would also have their hands full with Penn State and Michigan St.

I think Nebraska matches up well with Michigan and Northwestern.

Wisconsin's Oline vs. OSU front 7 will tell you everythng you need to know about the Big Ten this year. That battle will decide the conference.
