With major programs like Oklahoma and Texas rumored to leave the Big 12 its seems that its only a matter of time before the Big 12 Conference dies.

^^^It looks pretty grim, no doubt...lol. I don't see the conference lasting past this season. From what I've been reading elsewhere, we may even know by this week what's going to happen.

Even if they somehow keep it together this time, they'll be gone in a few years max. This is turning into a yearly event, and now that they've lost members to other conferences the horse is already out of the barn.

I would be more concern with the Big East. Down another 2. So now at 7 (since TCU joins). Nova already said no about moving up the football program. Notre Dame won't move over for football. I wonder how they survive.

As for Big 12, it is all based on Oklahoma's decision. They leave conference is gone.

It seems like the Big XII is gone so I hope my team(Kansas) starts looking out for itself and not the league. You never know maybe they already have something in the works. One day I hear the Pac 12, the next the Big 10 and the next day the Big East(looks like that may be done too though).

I just want this settled as I think it's going to hurt recruiting if they can't tell a prospective player what league they will be in.

Probably the end for the Big 12 and Big East... but who cares.

They both suck (OVERALL) in my opinion. They were simply just Texas and Oklahoma every year. No one else ever had a shot to win a National Title. And I mean a realistic shot. Mizzou was decent for a couple years. Nebraska never got back to the Tom Osborne days during the Big 12 years. And Colorado was a shell of what it was in Darian Hagon, Eric Bienemy days. TAMU, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State were all barely over mediocre throughout the years. It's better that it blows up and the best programs go their separate ways.

It's natural selection at its finest going on in the Conference Realignments... LOL
