I have some old pics of me in a Marching Mizzou uniform, lol!
My husband graduated from University of Florida, we have happily co-existed during football season for over 20 years.
If Mizzou joins the SEC, its gonna be all-out warfare in my house!

That's ok, we'll just borrow Florida uniforms and watch you guys roll over like kittens.

If you noticed--you'll see I ended my statement with "could only make us better." I guess youre one of those "fly by night" fans that give up on your team because they lose?

As long as you keep the current streak of not winning a National Championship in any sport since 1965 does it matter? Or you can still remain dead last in Conference titles out of all schools in the respective conference? That should be considered as well.

By the way, if you are referring to football, the series is even.

Premise:
1. All conferences should be of a size to permit each conference team to play all other conference teams a) in football once each year; and b) in basketball no less than one home and home game each year.

2. No conference teams should be located more than a five hour drive from the center locus of the conference.

3. No conference should span more than two time zones.

And while I'm wishing, I'd like peace in the Middle East. And a pony.

No, I have season tickets and have been a fan for virtually my whole life.

I don't see how Mizzou fits in the SEC geographically. Now if Mizzou was located in lets say Cape Girardeau county, Sikeston, Caruthersville, Poplar Bluff, ect then they would be more appropriate to lump in with the SEC. Just like Arkansas, texas, LA doesn't really make sense being Southeast. They fit in better with the Big 12 with TX and OK teams.

The Big Ten is a better fit for Missouri culturally, and not just because of the way the universities conduct themselves. Missouri is more geographically removed from the SEC than from the Big Ten, and regionally is a better fit for the states in those conferences. With the same respect, I think Kansas should join the Big Ten. Oklahoma should either join the Big Ten or I'd say the SEC because geographically that's a better fit. Same for Texas. Iowa State obviously should join the Big Ten.
