I think you might be right.

The Dinky Dozen is overrated, IMO.

OK-State is good, but lets not get ahead of ourselves. I'm pretty confident OU will beat the crap out of them like they always do. Just wait and see...

(although I'd love to see OK-State take the big 12 title for once)

If OU beats OK State, well, I'll stand corrected. But I think this year's OSU team is for real. I also like their coach - great character guy (at least on tv).

I think Cyclone is right. I would be shocked if OU doesn't still win the Big 12 Championship. Of course, OSU is really pretty good this year. Their defense seems to be playing a lot better than usual and their special teams are really good and I would give anything to shut up the SEC folks. However, Justin Blackmon had a concussion and is getting checked.....this could be really (really) bad if he has reoccurring problems because the kid is just dominate when him and Weeden are on (and yes, Weeden and Blackmon would dominate LSU/Bama....the question is OSU's defense over the course of a whole game.)

We'll see what happens this weekend at KSU to know if the Tech game was just a fluke.....it's football, that's why we watch! (The weather and delay certainly did not work in OU's favor....it was, as someone else said, the "Perfect Storm.") The Sooners' best corner was out the whole game for reasons unknown to me as well as Tom Wort, our best run-D linebacker. Dom Whaley would have been good for at least 7 if not more and was out the whole game with a flu? I don't understand how you can watch your team go down when you have a FLU....and yes, he was on the sideline and dressed out. And our kicker choked...twice.

Having said that, the game ball has to go to Tech's O-Line. They played a great game and protected their QB better than FL State or Texas. The Tech O-Coordinator also won (perhaps dominated) the chess match against Venebles, which doesn't happen too often.

Having the weather delay may have caused OU to go flat....and Tech wanted to get the heck outta Norman.
Big Game Bob does seem to drop his share of little ones.

I think OU beats OSU straight up to win the Dinky Dozen.

Ok State probably has the best shot of beating OU this year than they ever have, however, I wouldn't be surprised at all if OU wins the rest of their games and takes the Big 12 title.

It's not that unheard of for them to beat OU, they even did it twice in a row back when Les Miles was coach.

Gundy has never beat OU. As a coach or a player.

That being said, I think this is the year he does. Something no good (weird transfers/ strange talk) is brewing in the locker room @ OU. I have a feeling this OU team might self destruct (and by self destruct I mean go 8-4). I hope I'm wrong, just got a feeling. They'll drop either 2-3 more or none at all. LOL. Boomer Sooner!
