If he hadn't looked at the other players and spread his arms like he did he wouldn't have gotten the call. Celebrating is one thing being cocky and taunting is another. There's enough cocky attitude in the NFL, we don't need to breed it in NCAA.

Kind of agree with this, but if I were in his situation, as a punter, getting a touchdown, from Australia, playing at a big time college against a big time school, I'd probably do that as well.

That wasn't much of a taunt or excessive anything....and we've all seen a lot of really bad examples of the "in-your-face" variety.

Pretty dumb subjective rule which takes a lot of fun out of the game, IMO.

I've seen a lot of nit picky calls so far this year as well as a lot of missed calls. It's all frustrating.

The NCAA will get dumber every year. Football won't be fun in 5 more years. It'll become soccer minus the fans.

It may turn around, they did that in Nascar and now no one is watching so they turned them loose again. I'm all for protecting heads and what not but like my husband said the other night, we may as well hang flags off their pants...

The NCAA continues to treat its players like grade-school children. They are not "kids" - they are adults.
