We all know VY should have beat out Reggie Bush.

Now no one can clam that year's Heisman.

Congrats to him and the Bears.
Ditto that! I was surprised that RG3 won it but I'm very glad that he won it. He's a classy guy and a great QB. He's also a great leader on that team.

Not this guy. Reggie Bush, even though paid, was the best player.

I don't know, the national championship game that year ended up proving VY was superior to Reggie Bush IMHO...

Exactly, I mean VY was so gifted he was even able to throw touchdowns with his knee down. Reggie had nothing on Vince.

Oh-- did the refs say his knee was down? The ruling on the field is final... I must have missed that when I watched the game...

Not making excuses as I'm a Duck and both USC and UT matter little to me. But the pic is clear as a bell, so yeah, you did miss it. Everyone I was with saw it very clearly and all my UT friends here in Austin say they saw it. Even my UT wife admits it- and she never admits anything. But, it was a heck of a game though. I can careless about either dude. Both are scrubs in the pros.

Apparently it was the SE voters that really helped RGIII. Thanks!!!

As if Texas wasn't going to score from that point anyway? lol

VY was on a roll and was almost unstoppable. But 4th & 5 should've convinced anybody who was the better, more effective & valuable player.

Also I'd like to point out Bush got away with taking a swing at a UT special teams gunner (Huff, I think) when he was stopped for a short kick return early in the RB game. Not very sportsmanlike at all.

UT had one more pick off Leinart that was ruled incomplete if ya wanna complain about no-calls. Plus the Trojan running back got a 1 yard favorable spot on 4th & 2 which made that 4th quarter measurement much closer than it should've been.

Because of Bush & a couple others, the Heisman is a joke. The voting & award should be done AFTER the bowl games....then there would be less arguing.

Not really. But if he's being compared to Luck, it comes out about the same because he hasn't faced a real defense this year either.
