You're kidding me, right? If your only thrills come from touchdowns, then you don't really understand the game, my friend.

9 out of 10 fans would prefer touchdowns over field goals. 9 out of 10 fans would prefer watching a game that ended 52 - 49 as opposed to 9 - 6.

It was an okay game at best.

I was glued to the screen throughout the whole game, never thought I would sit through a whole defensive game like that. The fact that it was #1 v #2 and had major implications were a factor as well.

Heh, I admit that I slept most of the game due to being sick.

Anyways, looks like my prediction was right. It's too bad neither offense seemed really that good, looks like what made the game was GOD like defense.

Just think, If you combined the offense shown in the USC/Stanford game with the defense in this game, you would have the ULTIMATE GAME.

You may be right.....saw an interesting stat regarding #1 vs. #2 games in recent years. The last eleven times we've had #1 vs. #2 games, the winning team has gone on to win the national title only twice.

Who will then? I'm one of the biggest SEC haters out there but what I've seen so far this year, I find it hard to believe that the champion will come from outside the SEC.

It is hard to bet against the SEC, but the streak must end sometime, and I don't think this LSU team is quite as good as the previous championship teams.
