Talking CSU Pueblo remains 3rd in the nation

The new division 2 coaches' poll is out and as I suspected CSU Pueblo remains ranked 3rd in the nation.

CSU Pueblo is still the highest ranked Colorado college football teem in any poll rather its in division 2 or division 1.

PUEBLO REPRESENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the top 5 teams:

1. Pittsburg St. (Kan.)
2. Minnesota-Duluth
3. Colorado St.-Pueblo
4. Grand Valley St. (Mich.)
5. Winston-Salem St. (N.C.)

This Saturday Pueblo plays Adams State at home. I will be at the game and post some pictures and a video after the game...

I will be honest I don't follow division 1 football all that much but I can't help but notice how bad CU Buffalo's are playing. With the embarrassing loss to Fresno State last weekend I looked at some articles on line today and this one caught my attention:

The Buffs -- who were 15-point underdogs to the Bulldogs in Las Vegas -- trailed Fresno State 35-0 after 15 minutes of hell (over an hour in real time). Fresno State 55, Colorado 7. As humiliating as the losses to Colorado State and Sacramento State were, at least Colorado had a chance to win those games in the fourth quarter.Sadly, that was the halftime score.

Before the intermission, the Buffs allowed: The Bulldogs to rack up 516 yards of offense. Three 1-play scoring drives: a 97-yard touchdown pass, a 94-yard touchdown run and a 60-yard touchdown pass. Robbie Rouse to rush for 144 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries (16.0 yards per). Rouse to score a total of four touchdowns (four catches for 42 yards and two TDs). Derek Carr to complete 17-of-22 passes for 300 yards with five touchdowns and one interception.

Game, set and no match against another non-BCS team before the intermission.

Given how bad CU is and how good CSU Pueblo is I have to think that if the two teams played this year and Pueblo played its top game they would not only be respectable but actually have a chance to win the game. Now this won't happen as CSU Pueblo is years away from even thinking about playing a division 1 team but its just something I have been thinking about so I thought I would post my thoughts here.

You know, Mines is also ranked nationally (DII at #18) and is undefeated. Oh, and Adams State is also undefeated. Finally, it's spelled, "Thunderwolves".

Details still aren't your strong point.

So they are undefeated, however, CSU Pueblo is the only school in the top 5 and predicted to win the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference..

And CSU Pueblo plays Adams State this weekend in Pueblo and the gold diggers (the school of mines) on October 13 at Golden. After I predict that Pueblo will still be undefeated and they will not.

Tomorrow night CSU Pueblo play Adams State at the Tunderbowl. This is a important game as both teams are in the RMAC and are undefeated. I am planning on going to the game and will take some pictures and a video and post them on Monday.

CSU Pueblo thumped Adams State 30-0 to go 4 and 0!!!! On top of that the gold diggers lost so Pueblo is now the ONLY undefeated college or pro football football team in Colorado!

I will post pictures and a video on Monday.

As I always say: Pueblo represents!

As promised some pictures and a video of the game......

This time I sat on the east stands as the west side (home side) was sold out. Even on the east side there was not many seats left. This is good for the program but also means I should start buying my tickets ahead of time.

It was a night game and I love night games.......

My pictures:

CSU Pueblo's offense at work!

Now my video!

Default No change in top 5

The new poll came out today and there are no changes in the top 5 so I won't re post the poll just say that Colorado State University - Pueblo remains the 3rd ranked team in the nation....

Also, the Colorado School of Mines (or as I call them the gold diggers) dropped out of the top 25 due to their loss last weekend. That means that CSU Pueblo is now the only nationally ranked football team in college in the state of Colorado.

and as I always say:

PUEBLO REPRESENTS!!!!
