I really HOPE that Pueblo defeats UNC in Greeley this year. In general, I would not really care what happens. However, I thought it has been pretty pathetic how UNC has treated their coaches they had prior to moving to Division I.

Keep us all updated.

In my opinion UNC made a bad call to move to division 1. They are more of a division 2 team who thought they were better then they were because they won the national championship back to back. I really do think given how CSU Pueblo is playing we have a good chance of beating them. Now by how much I can't say but I would like for Pueblo to go in and blow them out of the water.

I will post the score during the game and my pictures the Monday after. I am still not sure how to post pictures using my I phone and photo bucket that is why there is always a delay.

GO PUEBLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pueblo is finally on the board 7 to 16 in the 2nd against UNC, a team that owns a 11-0-2 record against the T tech.

Twolves putting UNCs undefeated record in jeopardy with the 28-23 halftime lead. Is UNC div 2?

It was a great game! At first Pueblo was down 16 to 0 and I told my friend this is going to be a long day and I'm leaving at half time. Then we quickly scored 14 points and it was a different game. Also there was more fans from Pueblo so it felt like a home game. I will post pictures Monday but a great win by Pueblo against a D1 school!

Talking ThunderWolves get historic win over Northern Colorado

This is being called a historic win for the Pueblo program and arguebly the biggest win in school history.

This is from the Pueblo Chieftain:

“This was a huge win for our team and a huge win for the city of Pueblo and our community,” CSU-Pueblo head coach John Wristen said. “Our guys kept battling, even when we got down. But we scored 28 points in the second quarter and we just kept battling.”

This is what Greeley is saying about the loss to Pueblo. This link includes the head coach of the Bears talking about the loss.

Currently the D2 poll has Pueblo ranked #6 while the D2 coaches poll has Pueblo ranked at #8. However two teams ahead of Pueblo in the Coaches poll lost so I think come next week both polls should have CSU Pueblo ranked 6!

Talking Pueblo #5 in the nation!

Well I was actually conservative on my prediction. Not many times I can say that.

So instead of CSU Pueblo being ranked 6th in the division 2 coaches poll they are actually ranked 5th! So ya CSU Pueblo is now in the top 5 in the nation.

This is from the division 2 coaches poll:

"Colorado State-Pueblo jumped three spots to No. 5 this week."

Talking CSU Pueblo to be televised

More good news as CSU Pueblo travels to Dallas to play at AT&T stadium against Angelo State and it will be televised. That is the same stadium the Dallas Cowboys play in.

Angelo State is located in San Angelo Texas, a city of about 94,000 people and metro of about 111,000 people. There is about 6,888 students at the university. The football team is in the D2 Lone Star conference. I do not believe they are ranked but given it is a Texas football team I suspect it will be a hard game for Pueblo.

I will not be at the game but I am going to host a football party at my house.

GO PUEBLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
