Pueblo is still talking about the latest win and its arguably the biggest win in Pueblo history. Personally I think its a toss up between this game and last years playoff game victory, however, I do agree that someone can make a argument for either game. Hopefully this year Pueblo can not only make it to the national championship game but win it then there wont be any argument as to what is the most important win in city history!

This is from the Pueblo Chieftain:

A longtime historian of all things Colorado State University-Pueblo said that the ThunderWolves’ 41-36 win over Northern Colorado on Saturday was as big as it gets in local college football lore.

Talking Division II national power CSU-Pueblo

One of the things that is really awesome and surreal is that people often refer to CSU Pueblo as a "national powerhouse". I keep reading that as I look up articles about CSU Pueblo. I can't explain how it feels when your home town university and school that you graduated from is refereed to as a "national powerhouse" especially since the university was a joke as I was growing up. This is the last thing I ever expected.

This is one example from the Denver Post:

This didn’t get a ton of attention in the Denver area, or around the state, but while Colorado escaped against FCS Central Arkansas Saturday night in Boulder, there was a significant upset in the state involving a matchup of teams from different divisions. Division II national power CSU-Pueblo, of the 28-scholarship Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, beat FCS Northern Colorado, of the 63-scholarship Big Sky, 41-36 in Greeley.

Some more information on the game this weekend in Dallas.

This is from kktv:

Altitude 2 has picked up the broadcast and will air it to more than 3 million households. The network is available regionally in Colorado and nine other states. It also is available nationally for those who subscribe to the sports pack with their respective satellite providers.

So in a way this is a nationally televised game!!!!

Countdown to kickoff is in about 1 day as kickoff is 7 pm MDT tomorrow night. I will post the scores but will not have any pictures since the game is at Dallas. However to remind everyone it is on tv. My prediction is that Pueblo will win by a comfortable margin.

GO PUEBLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You may want to take a deep breath.

Very often, the world's greatest victory is followed up with a very disappointing loss.

It wasn't that great of a victory, it was just UNC.

CSU-Pueblo 45
some Texas team 24, and they scored a pick-6 in trash time. This was at Texas Stadium.

Pueblo messed with Texas, diddled their skittles, and flicked their dolphin.

Go Pack!

While they are not a great D1 team they are one with something like 60 scholarships versus the 26 on CSU Pueblo.
