Now for my picture. There was 6,815 people at today's game and most left early, including myself lol.

I suspect Pueblo will stay ranked 2nd in the regional poll.

A good, solid win. Hopefully, they got the loss out of their system early. They still look very strong.

I think the loss was actually good for them in the long run. Woke them up and caused them to play with a spark I had not seen in a few games before.

Also, In the "for what it's worth" column: CSU Pueblo beat division 1 FCS then ranked 14th Sam Houston State by 47-21. Yesterday Sam Houston State beat 23rd nationally ranked Stephen F. Austin in the "Battle of the Piney Woods," 42 to 28. The Bearkats are 5 and 4 overall, and 4 and 1 in conference. They're on track to finish 7 and 1 based on weak opponents (Incarnate Word, Houston Baptist & Central Arkansas, not as good as in the past) left on their schedule. If all goes right, SHSU will win, or share of win, of the Southland Conference championship.

This makes the Pueblo win more impressive!

Tomorrow CSU Pueblo travels to Grand Junction to play Colorado Mesa in another must win game if they want to make the playoffs. Once the game is over I will post the final score.

CSU Pueblo completely destroyed Colorado Mesa 52-3. In fact CSU-P had more interceptions than Mesa had points. I have to be honest I knew Pueblo would win I did not think they would dominate the game like they did. This is good as it shows that Pueblo started the season out good (beating D1 FCS SHSU) then had a small slump actually losing a game but now improving every week and with the playoffs starting this month that is what you want to see in a team.

The regional rankings came out and while there is one more week of games left CSU Pueblo sits number 2 and I think if Pueblo wins should stay that way. That would give them a BYE the first round and home field advantage.

SUPER REGION FOUR

1 Ferris St. 10-0 10-0
2 Colorado St.-Pueblo 8-1 9-1
3 Michigan Tech 8-1 8-1
4 Ohio Dominican 8-1 8-1
5 Colorado Mines 9-1 9-1
6 Indianapolis 9-0 9-1
7 Tex. A&M-Commerce 7-1 8-2
8 Angelo St. 7-2 7-2
9 Chadron St. 7-2 7-3
10 Ashland 8-2 8-2

I feel like CSU-Pueblo could hire you (probably free of charge) as their poster-child for their student recruitment and marketing advertisements. Same goes for the Pueblo County Chamber of Commerce.

This afternoon Pueblo has its last regular season game against New Mexico Highlands. If Pueblo wins they will win the RMAC and make it in the playoffs. Plus if they stay ranked 2nd in the region will get a BYE next weekend then home field advantage. Personally I think Pueblo will win by a 2 to 3 touchdown margin.

The next cold front should hit before game time so it could be cold and snowy. I will post a few pictures tonight.

I'm watching and SEC game and realize that I'm missing an Air Force game, tune in to that as the Zoomies beat Nevada in OT, then realize the Thunderwolves are on TV too.

The score is 16-7 at the half. So before the 3rd quarter is over, the score is 44-7.

Steve Sewell is their running backs coach.

CSU Pueblo won Saturday and are in the playoffs as the second seed from the region. That gives them a BYE this weekend and a home game the next.

SR4:
1. Ferris State (11-0)
2. Colorado St-Pueblo (10-1)
3. Michigan Tech (9-1)
4. Colorado Mines (10-1)
5. Ohio Dominican (9-1)
6. Angelo St. (8-2)
