Not a good day for CSU Pueblo as they lost by 1 point. Ugg. Hopefully this is their one bad game of the season.

With the disappointing loss last weekend this weeks game against Western State became very important. Why? This will show if the team is like last years team and can bounce back from a loss to win the RMAC and the national title. It is at home and at night. I will be there and post pictures by Monday.

In Division II and III, losing an early non-conference game is really not that meaningful other than knocking you down in the ratings. It is far more important to win all of your conference games and to avoid being tied for the conference title at the end of the year.

This is true and why I like the payoff system better.

The national defending champions CSU Pueblo beat Western New Mexico 42-27 in a game that was closer then the score would indicate.

The defending national champions CSU Pueblo beat Adams State in a shut out 56-0! It was a away game so I have no pictures.

The only time they would play would be in the playoffs or national title game, last year Pueblo beat UM Mankato to win the national title.

This week CSU Pueblo did play and beat Fort Lewis 45-9. It was a rematch as that was the only loss Pueblo had last season. I was at the game and will post pictures and a video by Monday.
