The first regional rankings came out and CSU Pueblo is #1 for the super region 4. This means if they keep winning, and I think they will, they will have home field advantage in the playoffs. To be honest I was worried because Ohio Dominican had not lost a game this season either but Pueblo was ranked above them.
:
Here is the ranking from Division 2 football:
SUPER REGION FOUR
1 Colorado State-Pueblo 7-0 8-0
2 Ohio Dominican 6-0 7-0
3 Saginaw Valley State 7-1 7-1
4 Midwestern State 6-1 6-1
5 West Texas A&M 7-1 7-1
6 Indianapolis 6-0 7-1
7 Chadron State 6-2 6-2
8 Grand Valley State 6-2 6-2
9 Texas A&M-Commerce 5-2 6-2
10 Tarleton State 4-2 5-2
That was a tough win for them. The game was closer than the scoreboard would indicate. Mesa has a pretty tough defense.
I agree 100%. While the CSU Pueblo defense played great the offence sputtered in the first half making mistake after mistake. If they want to win a playoff game they will have to play their A game and have no mistakes.
#3 CSU Pueblo beat Mesa University 34-6 to stay undefeated. That brings their record winning streak to 29 games! I will post pictures Monday.
C'mon, let's keep in honest. CSU Pueblo lost to West Texas A&M last year in the Division II quarterfinals.
It may be a 29 game regular season winning streak, which is still not bad.
I believe that the current longest winning streak is Division III's Mount Union University with 23 games ... which almost ended on Saturday. Prior to that, it was University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's 46 game winning streak.

I am talking about regular season wins. In fact the Pueblo Chieftain wrote about it today:
The Pack now has won a record 29 consecutive games in the RMAC.
Also, I believe the Pack has the current longest winning streak in all of D2 football.
The NFL keeps similar records as the Denver Broncos have the longest current consecutive wins at home, but I could be wrong on the Broncos. Again this does not count the playoffs.
Speaking of the playoffs. In my biased opinion Pueblo beat themselves last year against WT. I was hoping for a rematch this year but WT lost yesterday so I do not think they will make the playoffs.
BTW thanks for reading this thread. Its nice to see that people actually do read it. Sometimes I wonder to be honest.
Question? Is your favorite team in D3?

Pueblo plays at New Mexico Highlands this weekend and home against Western State to end the regular season. I predict Pueblo will win both games to make the record winning streak 31 games.
Playoffs:
Pueblo will get a first round BYE then host the second round of the playoffs November 30th.
CSU Pueblo beat New Mexico Highlands 47 to 21 to go 10-0!!!!!!!!!!! Plus that was their 30th consecutive win a row improving on their RMAC record.
This weekend is the final game in regular season and they are home against Western State. Kickoff is at 2 and I will be there. I think it will be a easy win and that should give them the number 1 seed in the super region 4 and a first week bye in the playoffs.
