Up to around 20 victims. I'm sure there will be more to come. Sandusky established his non-profit in the late seventies. Now one has to wonder the reasoning behind starting the non-profit in the first place.
This might end up bringing down the entire university.

They were interviewing a local reporter on ESPN radio, and he said that a lot of these rumors have been floating around for years--he and others have been trying to get it out in the open but no one was ever willing to go on the record.
I do tend to think Paterno should at least finish out the season, just because nothing has technically been proven yet, and also more for the sake of his players than for him.

It was proven he knew about it. He should be fired immediately.

If the allegations are true JoePa's complicit of a criminal offense and he will be duly charged. The NCAA has to sanction Penn St. in some form or fashion just to set a precedent, because it's highly doubtful that this is an insular case. Pedophiles network with other pedophiles, and if assistant coach Sandusky was bold enough to sexually assault a minor in the shower room of the athletic building, then you have to assume there have been similar sexual assaults given the same circumstances between a NCCA coach and a minor somewhere else .

I'm not looking to start an argument, but JoePa was made aware of this criminal offense and he failed to report it to the proper authorities, i.e, the police. Failure to do so, i believe, is called criminal negligence, and for that he should not only resign immediately, but face criminal charges as well.

Grand jury indictment;
http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2011/11/...resentment.pdf
It's 23 pages long so click the link if you want to read the disgusting allegations on this scumbag.
I didn't make it too far.
This thing might go down as the worst college FB scandal ever. Pay for play is peanuts compared to what appeared was going on at this university. Too many ADULTS knew what was going on and did absolutely nothing. This whole story makes me sick to my stomach.

"The kids that were victims or whatever they want to say, I think we all ought to say a prayer for them. Tough life, when people do certain things to you. Anyway, you've been great. Everything's great, all right."
**** off Joe Pa.
