I'm really behind on this... Just started paying attention to it yesterday. I'm seriously choked up and at a lost for words. And I cannot imagine reading grand jury report, I don't think I can handle it. I have a young son and I'm sadden even thinking about anything like this happening to him. They all have to go... the more details that come out the worse this gets.

Penn State should be ashamed. This is something the NCAA should give the death penalty for...

I think there should and will be a house cleaning at PSU. Coach, AD maybe President and some of the board.

As I noted in another forum....I think a lot of the concern at Penn State is over how this will effect their recruiting, what sanctions they will receive and so forth. Such is the lunacy of people that get too caught up in something whether it's sports, politics or whatever.

You either win in college football or you are out. If you win, you are teflon.

Joe Pa was more powerful on that campus that the president or the AD.

That's because he had a long term winning tradition for football. If this happened to the field hockey or volleyball team they'd be burning effigies on the lawn.

Personally, I think Penn State should get a couple years without football as a prize. Give them time to reflect on what they were willing to do in order to have a successful program.

They should read the 23 page grand jury document... It's disgusting.

You have to remember these are just kids living in an insulated environment where Paterno is God.

Grown-ups will have the final say so on Joe and his enabling ways of a child molester.

I hope all the parents sue the school and the athletic department goes belly up and ceases to exist.

Joe Paterno should be drug out on his lawn and put down like a dog along with everyone else involved. They do not deserve to live.

Seriously, NCAA should not brush this off as either nothing against their rules, or he wasn't employed by them, lame cop-outs. They need to sanction them for the most heinous scandal ever in college athletics programs. This makes OSU, UM etc as crazy college kids. This is the worst of crimes committed i n your own facilities being covered up. The death penalty would actually allow them to start over clean of the good ol boys that still are only interested in protecting the program and themselves.

You are correct. It is absolutely beyond disgusting.

I am more appalled that football at this school was far more important than the vile actions done on these children.

I read the report and just would NEVER EVER support that school's programs again. EVER.
