Miss this year!

Vandy beat UK and Ole Miss each by 30.

But UK also blew out Ole Miss.

Doesn't that make Ole Miss clearly the doormat of the SEC?

Vandy is going to a bowl unlike UK, ut, and Ole Miss. That puts VU in the middle of the SEC pack with James Franklin getting a new indoor practice facility and lots of top recruits...they are moving up into the "Northwestern" tier of private football schools.

I think these teams will be the worst:

1. Kentucky
2. Mizzou
3. Ole Miss
4. Tennessee
5. Vanderbilt

Add A&M to that list.

They went 4-5 in the weaker Big12 this season, plus they're losing their best offensive playmakers.

And I hear Coach Sherman is about to be fired.

it's a done deal... He's gone!!!

I think it's a smart move. New conf... They should start fresh. I would suggest Kevin Sumlin from Houston or Gary Patterson from TCU... Patterson is prob unlikely to leave though... But if I were AD I would still try.

AM just needs a top coach. They have most of the other things in place to win big.

Aggies took a step in the right direction by letting Sherman go. They need to go out and get a reputable coach who can recruit which should lead the Aggies back to contention again in the SEC.

It sounds like they are having a lot of dissension regarding the firing, that may not bode well.

If I was A&M I would go after this guy:

Spoiler
Chris Peterson (71-6 record all time)

And he would probably accept the offer...
