After hearing the new that Missouri will in fact be added to the SEC, I'm wondering if that's a good fit. Does it even make sense?
So that makes, Texas & Missouri the 2 new SEC states with Texas A&M and Missouri joining the conference.

Are there more fitting teams that could have been added, or at least considered?

If you feel there are better fits out there, which team SHOULD have been added instead, in place of Missouri?

Also, if you feel a team should have been added instead of Texas A&M, what team?

Boot Missouri and add Florida State (voted) or Virginia Tech. Clemson would be fun too.

Move 'Bama and Auburn to the East and add OU and oSu in the West.

Now we're talking about the first 16 team superconference.

Frankly,

Florida State and Clemson if you wanted two teams that would actually be competitive. I'm not sold on VTech. If you wanted to just focus on new markets, then Texas and Oklahoma, but that would set up a friggin MONSTER of a conference (can't say it wouldn't be interesting though).

Then again as one already said, it's a done deal.

It doesn't really matter, the super conferences will happen. The Boise States of the world will get shut out, ESPN will dish out even more money and in return will GET even more money and the status quo continues, everyone who "matters" is happy.

THe EnD.

Florida State in the SEC would be epic. Take one of the best rivalries in college football and make it a conference division rivalry, and you've got a grudge match waiting to happen every year. I think FSU's on its way up. Granted, this has been a disappointing year, but sooner or later, they'll get their act together.

Lots of ACC schools would be good. That's because the ACC is a great football conference...getting better every year it seems. Give me USF or TCU in the SEC.

Am I the only one who's tired of even reading about Houston even getting a sniff of BCS respect?

Look, no disrespect to Houston's fans, because they do actually have a history of good NCAA athletics there. But this UH team, as fun as they are to watch, would get crushed by any of the top five teams out there right now, and they'd probably get handled fairly well by the remaining teams in the top ten. After that, I think they'd go 5 and 5 against the teams in the rest of the top 20. Seriously, Houston hasn't played *anybody*. People who were commenting about Boise St not playing anyone....what about UH? Seriously, put those two teams together and watch the Broncos have some fun.
