Agreed... We'll defend our conference but that's completely different.

Speak for yourself... DuckFan.

We root for our team... just because we think another SEC team is gonna beat a team from another conference doesn't mean we are rooting for them. Get it straight...

Right, I went to school with Eddie Lacey-Bama RB, but I love seeing them lose.

Are you joking? Every SEC fan I know roots for the conference almost as much as their own team. It's like a viral infection that permeates the conference.

Pfft, every team is a near rival game. We might want to see the SEC dominate, but we don't like each other at all. When's the last time you've seen a LSU/Bama/Auburn fan rooting for one another? I've NEVER seen it.

I have 2 cousins that go to Alabama. I see that garbage every week, from them and their friends, even going so far as to spam war eagle crap after Aurburn beat them. All you have to do is go monitor a game conversation on ESPN.com or go to any SEC forum.

That makes no sense? again... You are mistaken having pride in your conference for rooting, theirs a difference. Everybody defends their conference... Big 12, PAC 12, Big 10, & ACC... Everybody has pride!

If you are not in the SEC you will never realize how much we hate each other.

I do believe we are a tad bit off on the original topic on this thread (favorite NCAA team and where do you live.) Let's get back there OK? Thanks.

Don't have a favorite NCAA team, i watch college football (SEC & ACC) alot, but really more because I like to watch than to root for a particular team. If I would have to pick a team to root for the GT Yellow Jackets would be it because it was like 3 minutes from where I grew up, but thats about it.
