If UGA beats LSU why wouldnt Georgia go to the big game? They only have 1 SEC loss against a good South Carolina team. Dont sleep on Georgia their defense one of the best in the nation and have a better offense then Alabama. Boise State is the ONLY team outside the SEC that can possibly beat LSU or Bama. It will be an All-SEC championship for sure.

Because they wouldn't be ranked #1 or #2 in the BCS.

There are a couple of teams outside the SEC that *could* beat LSU, even if it's not likely. The team outside the SEC I would least like LSU to face would be a rematch against Oregon. I think they'd win it, but it would be tough. Oregon is so well-coached. Yeah, they choked last night against SC. Props to the Trojans...they just got up for it I guess. I still think Oregon's a dangerous team, especially if they've seen a team before.

Football's about match-ups, too. Not sure how Oregon would do against one of the better Big 10 teams. Probably would do okay against Big 12.

One of the reasons i can't see LSU losing is that they have alot of depth...good depth too. In quite a few games early in the year, they had suspensions with quite a few starters. The backups stepped it up.I believe it wasn't till their 4th game that they had the full complement of starters.

It'll be an emotional game for Arkansas, who lost a freshman due to unknown causes.

If Arkansas beats LSU, it won't be because LSU has been caught by surprise. They've had this game on their calendar since last year, when Arkansas defeated LSU in Ark. If Arkansas wins, it probably means they're the better team.

I think LSU's going to win this if they come prepared and bring their best game. LSU's team speed on defense is going to cause problems for Arkansas on offense. They're fortunate in that they've already played one of the toughest defenses in the league, so some of their weaknesses on offense were exposed early and they can take that into their game this week. Even so, it's hard to see LSU not winning.

The only point of concern for LSU is that they can sometimes be a bit soft up front. They will give up yardage if they don't get to the quarterback in time. But they're hard to score on and they don't give up a lot of big plays. Moreover, they tend to make big plays on defense. Pass happy Arkansas may play into LSU's hands.

Virginia Tech!!

Ok, just kidding, sort of. I don't believe that we are one of the top 2, or even top 5 teams in the country right now; however, with the way the system is playing out this year, it's not that far out of the realm of possibility.

OU over OSU would push them to #4, LSU beating Arkansas would push VT to #3. And if VT wins out, the voters may just vote to avoid a rematch just like they have in the past. Not that I think playing LSU would be a pretty game for VT, they're pretty frightening this year.

I'd much rather see VT get in there over Arkansas or Alabama.

Why not VT? They only have one loss too!

Boise has 1 loss with a weak schedule.

BSU had to run the table to get to the title game, and even then they would have been a longshot to not get passed over by a 1-loss team from another conf.

Kinda like Houston.
