Urban Meyer to Ohio State Rumors: Deal Looks Done, What's Meyer's 1st Move? | Bleacher Report
I think Meyer will be the coach at Ohio State for 10 years. Throw out 2012. And he will get to 6 BCS Bowls in the next 9 years. If a few things fall into place he has a good shot of playing for 2 or 3 national titles.

After that he will be 57 years old and will retire for good.

I doubt he will last at OSU. They will be better than they were this year, but its still Urban Meyer. He will flake out sooner or later and leave the Buckeyes worse off than they are now.

Remember when their rivals up the road tried to use the spread offense? OSU will suffer the same fate as UM did during Rich Rods tenure.

I don't disagree that he'll flame out in less than five years (my money's on whenever Braxton Miller leaves or graduates), but unlike RichRod, Meyer at least recognizes the importance of playing defense in the Big Ten, which is something that's not as highly valued in the Big East and PAC-12 (I actually think he'll be a good fit for Zona)

Brian Kelly didn't hide his recruits too well. Urban just lured one of Notre Dame's top commits, offensive tackle Taylor Decker, into a weekend visit to Columbus.

He can lure recruits away from other teams all he wants, he still can't compete with the top teams in the SEC, which is one of the reasons he left Florida.

Better get more tattoo parlors established, and get ready for those sweetheart auto "loans." Urban's comin' to town; expect even more thuggery with the "student athletes". Then again, we know what's most important to THE Ohio State University.

He can't (and won't from what I understand) oversign recruits like his counterparts at LSU and Bama. That's why certain SEC schools will continue to be a step ahead of the rest of college football until someone higher up steps in and abolishes the practice of over-signing (not likely anytime soon).

Uh...none of the above on account of Ohio State being banned from a bowl next year?

Year 2: Big Ten contender.
