Well, i'll be damned. It appears Ed Orgeron has finally redeemed himself as a head coach. Let the Gus Malzahn Wild Ride begin yet again.

Arkansas, man...tsk-tsk-tsk. I really don't see how they get more than 2 wins. Other than Tulsa, i can't find another game that's winnable for them.

Alabama is dominant again. I notice no one has mentioned them lately.

It's going to be a long season for us Razorback fans. I knew the program was in trouble, but didn't think it was this kind of trouble. How we played against the Mean Green yesterday was unacceptable. The game was never even close.

Look at the utter dominance of this sub-conference over the last few years.

In years past, it was the SEC East. But this has been the SEC West's turn and look what they do out of conference. The SEC East isn't too shabby either, but look at the last few BCS Championships... including this upcoming one.

I predict LSU to win this one for the Trifecta... Alabama, Auburn, LSU. Who's next? Arkansas? Mississippi State?

So far, Mississippi State and Auburn won their bowl games. Arkansas may win. But at least one of the top two has to lose.

What are they feeding them folks down there?

The SEC is excellent in football and will likely field another CFP champion. If not, they will at least be well represented in the playoff. But the SEC football players do have human limits. Eryk Anders, a member of the Alabama BCS championship team, was knocked out last night in UFC Mixed Martial Arts. He lost to a Brazilian MMA expert and was unable to return to his corner. The fight was stopped on TKO. He had been an Alabama star athlete.

The problem with the SEC is that they (except for Missouri) do not have division 1 college wrestling. If Alabama had a wrestling team and Anders participated along with football, he might have won last night. But Alabama's MMA training is limited - usually the best MMA fighters in America had college wrestling in their experience. Alabama, Ole Miss, Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, etc. do not have college wrestling. This is appalling to me. The fact that the SEC West does not have D1 college wrestling showed in Anders' loss last night.

Alabama is the best. No question there.

See some potential Cinderella teams in the making this season. Wisconsin seems to have taken a step back. Cincinnati, Buffalo, Syracuse, Kentucky?

Mississippi State knows how the Razorbacks feel, SEC West dwellers.

Clemson, the Luckeyes, the Sooners, Georgia, unblemished.

Wonder if LSU will give Alabama a good game this year.

I was a wrestler in hs. Wrestlers make good tacklers on the gridiron.

Bama beat their cupcake snore.

Syracuse, thank you for nothing.

Aggies beat their fellow cellar dwellers snore.

MissSt favored over Florida? Not sure why. This one will put my thread title to the test. Can a 3-1 west beat a 3-1 east?

Ole Miss vs LSU. An actual division 1 college football contest.

Refreshing.

Auburn plays a cupcake snore...

My bold prediction for the year: Kentucky wins the East.

Yah, you heard that right Kentucky football winning the East! They get Georgia at home, and I think they beat them which means even if they lost to A&M or Tennessee or Missouri, the tiebreaker would get them in. Granted, they'll get killed by Alabama/LSU/Auburn out of the West, but they are definitely my sleeper team this year.

Alabama has issues with place kicking.
If/when they have a close game, it could cost them.

Auburn's offensive line, as I expected, is hot garbage this year. You don't lose four starters and don't take a major step backwards.

Kentucky yeah, 5-0. Thought they were a basketball town. But to beat out Georgia? Bama would seem relieved I would imagine.

Luckeyes! Damn Nitney whatevers! You blew it, team in white! Your helmets are too plain. Chokers. Thanks for nothing.
